I embrace and encourage AI's “weirdness” and imperfections, as I believe it is a valuable and distinctive aesthetic marking this significant era of AI's early formation.
I created this Trailer to overview key concepts and theories I'm researching within my MFA in Graphic Design Thesis. It focuses on such methodology principles as layered narratives, curating experience, visual and verbal fusion, inspiration in combination, creative collaboration with AI, and open-ended systems.
The video itself serves as an example of creative collaboration with AI within my design practice. The imagery for the video was created by krea.ai, while I took on the role of director, guiding the overall vision, content selection, and designing the motion.
By providing AI with broad prompts, I tried to explore its creative power and potential, creating a video that would be nearly impossible to craft outside of this collaboration, especially in the couple-week time frame I had.
